The GRiDCase 3 (1985) with the amber gas-plasma display is such a great looking little (heavy) device. Same keyboard as the IBM PCjr and featured an “X” debossed on the outer case, this was to show the user where to shoot in case the computer was in danger of falling into “enemy” hands.
Fun fact about GRiD Defence Systems: their computers were showcased in Aliens (1986), but the scenes were cut in the theatrical release, and then were added back in on DVD. You’ve likely seen them.
